VoIP Speed Router & On-Site Probe

VoIP Speed Router

Commingling network gear creates an unstable design that generally is the cause of voice quality degradation. With the VoIP Speed Solution, we install and maintain a separate and isolated Router thats sole function is to route voice traffic - and nothing more. This design helps us to quickly decipher and troubleshoot any possible issues and resolve them with little to no disruption in service.

We believe the best design is voice transmission isolation.

Other Hosted Solutions generally utilize existing customer network infrastructure that combines both voice and data packets together creating a finger-pointing environment when problems occur. This takes additional time, coordination, and resources to isolate and resolve problems. All the while, your voice application is performing well below par resulting in a disruption in your business.

On-Site PC Probe

The VoIP Speed design includes a PC Probe that resides outside of your network, but connected to the VoIP Speed Router. This probe provides a link and a variety of tools that our service technicians will use to troubleshoot very detailed issues. The probe also provides us with the capability of directly programming IP Terminals quickly and efficiently.

A relatively simple design concept - yet very important.

We realize that not every installation will mimic this design, as sometimes customers choose to use their existing IT infrastructure and route voice traffic together with their other data.

However, we will always prefer to isolate voice in this manner to ensure the best possible probability of voice quality, and the ability to troubleshoot issues faster and more efficiently.
